CZECH REPUBLIC & VIENNA TOUR ITINERARY
Day 0
(Fri.-July 13)
Depart USA Airport around noon. 
(Lunch, Dinner, & Breakfast on Flight). 
Be at airport 1.5 ~ 2 hours early for international departure.
Day 1
(Sat.- July 14)
We will arrive mid-morning in Prague.  Our bus will meet us at the airport for a quick sightseeing tour then transfer to hotel for check-in and a short rest.  A group Lunch (Included) at the hotel will precede the afternoon in Prague Square where we will tour such sights as the Astronomical Clock, Old Jewish Cemetery, St. Charles' Bridge, National Museum, Statue of Wenceslas, locations of shops(!), etc.  We will meet for Group Dinner at 6:00 p.m. at a popular Prague restraurant (Included), after which your evening entertainment of a concert, opera, theater, dinner boat cruise down the Vltava River, etc., will be on your own.

Day 2
(Sun.-July 15)
An early Breakfast Buffet is available in the hotel (Included).  We will meet the bus at 8:30 a.m. for tour of Prague Castle, Prazsky hrad, ArchBishop's Palace, Mass (optional) and tour of St. Vitus in Prague Castle, etc.  Group Lunch in Prague Castle area (Included).  We will then continue the City of Prague, Infant Jesus of Prague, and Old Town tour ending around 5:00 p.m.  Dinner is On Your Own with a list of recommended restaurants available, after which your evening is free.

Day 3
(Mon.-July 16)
A Breakfast Buffet is available in the hotel (Included).  Have your bags packed for 12:00 p.m. departure.  Must check out of hotel by 11:30 noon.  The remainder of morning is free for shopping.  Lunch is On Your Own.  Be on bus at 12:00 p.m. SHARP!!  We will depart for Ceske Budejovice and tour medieval castle towns and rolling Southern Bohemian landscape along the way.  A brief stop at the Nizbor Crystal Factory in Nizbor (Nizbor)will allow you to purchase exquisitely cut crystal.  After arriving Ceske Budejovice and checking into the hotel, a Group Dinner at a local restaurant is Included, leaving your evening free for city tour.

Day 4
(Tue.-July 17)
A Breakfast Buffet is available in the hotel (Included).  At 8:30 a.m., a Morning Tour of Ceske Budejovice by local guide.  Sites include 15th century Gothic fortification remains of Rabenstejn Tower and Iron Maiden Tower, the Dominican Monastery, Namesti Premysla Otakara II (the biggest plaza in the Czech Republic), or Museums of Southern Bohemia and Horse-Drawn Carriages.  Consider climbing the Black Tower.  Ceske Budejovice has excellent shopping!  Tour and Lunch (On Your Own) will be at the famous Budvar Brewery.  Our afternoon tour comprises Cesky Krumlov-a UNESCO World Heritage Preservation Site.  After seeing Cesky Krumlov and its castle, return to Ceske Budejovice.  Dinner is Included, with evening free for possible carriage ride, theater, etc.

Day 5
(Wed.-July 18)
An early Breakfast Buffet is available in the hotel (Included).  Have your bags packed for an 8:30 a.m. departure to Brno and tour of 18th century Hluboka Castle of the Schwarzenbergs; check out of hotel by 8:15 a.m.  We will board our bus for our trip into Moravia and the city of Brno.  Along the way through Trebon, we will visit the UNESCO designated city of Telc.  Lunch is On Your Own at a local restaurant in either Telc.  Upon arrival in Brno and checking into hotel, an orientation tour of Brno will follow.  Group Dinner is Included at a fabulous "Texas" themed restaurant leaving the evening free for entertainment.

Day 6
(Thu.-July 19)
An early Breakfast Buffet is available in the hotel (Included).  Meet at 8:30 a.m. for a Morning Walking Tour of Brno.  We will tour Spilberk Castle, Mendel's University, Augustinian Monastery, the Town Square, Petrov hill, the Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul, Capuchin Monastery Mummies.  Climb the Old Town Tower for an excellent view, Botanical Garden, etc.  Lunch is On Your Own at the restaurant of your choosing.  The afternoon is free for shopping and exploring.  Meet at 6:30 p.m. in hotel lobby for Group Dinner (Included) at a local, friendly restaurant with musical entertainment.

Day 7
(Fri.-July 20)
A Breakfast Buffet is available in the hotel (Included).  This morning is free of planned activities so that you may enjoy the beautiful city of Brno with its historic sites and wonderful shopping.  This will be the last major shopping city we will tour so it may be the last opportunity to purchase those special gifts.  Our hotel offers a full beauty salon for those of you interested in relaxing.  Lunch is On Your Own .  The bus will depart at 1:00 p.m. for a tour of the beautiful Moravian forests and the Moravian Karst, better known as the "Carlsbad Caverns" of Bohemia.  Warm clothing (Jacket!) is recommended as the air temperature is 40 degrees F.  We will meet in the hotel lobby at 6:30 p.m. for Group Dinner (Included).

Day 8
(Sat.-July 21)
An early Breakfast Buffet is available in the hotel (Included).  Please check out of hotel by 8:30 a.m. for an 8:45 a.m. departure to Stramberk.  We will tour the underrated, youthful, university city of Olomouc with the largest trove of historical architecture outside Prague.  Legend says Olomouc was founded by Julius Caesar.  Lunch (Included) will be a special treat at the seminary of Olomouc.   We will then arrive Stramberk around 4 p.m.  Dinner is On Your Own.  Check out the local town square for pubs and entertainment.

Day 9
(Sun.-July 22)
An Breakfast Buffet is available in the hotel (Included).  No planned activities for the day -- Day Free for Yourself to Explore Stramberk!  Local Church Service, tour Gothic Stramberk Castle (Closed on Monday) remains for vertiginous views across the Wallachian hills, tour oldest cavern in Czech Republic.  Take the optional afternoon tour to Roznov pod Radhostem, a resort town best known for its museum of traditional wooden architecture from the Beskydy region, with entertainment by their Wallachian program.  Lunch is On Your Own.  Meet in hotel lobby at 7:00 p.m. for Group Dinner at Hotel (Included).

Day 10
(Mon.-July 23)
An early Breakfast Buffet is available in the hotel (Included).  Board bus for neighboring towns tour, including:  Lichnov-A museum dedicated to Texas immigration, Frenstat, Novy Jicin-one of the regional governmental offices from which many Texas Czechs discover ancestry, Pribor-the home of Sigmund Freud, plus many other towns.  Lunch is On Your Own at a local restaurant.  We will return to our hotel in the mid-afternoon.  This evening's Group Dinner is a "Czech Pig Roast" at a local family restaurant (Included) in Verovice

Day 11
(Tue.-July 24)
An early Breakfast Buffet is available in hotel (Included).  We will depart at 7:30 a.m. for Poland.  This drive will take us through the Polish cities of Tesin and Katowice on our way to Czestochowa. Czestochowa is the location of the Black Madonna thus the major pilgrimage site in Poland.  We will tour this magnificent complex called Jasna Gora before departing to Birkenau and Auschwitz or Oswiecim in Polish.  The day trip to Poland will result in a late return to Stramberk.  Or just enjoy the relaxing pace of life in the community and the spectacular scenery!  Lunch is Included.  Dinner is On Your Own.

Day 12
(Wed.-July 25)
An early Breakfast Buffet is available in hotel (Included).  Have your bags packed for 8:45 a.m. departure to Lednice na Morave.  In our travel from Northern Moravia to Southern Moravia, we will tour several towns along the way: Novy Hrozenkov, Vsetin (Christmas Decoration Factory with the opportunity to purchase beautiful ornaments!), Uhersky Brod (Ethnic Doll Factory), Zlin, Straznice (International Folk Fest), Velehrad, Petrov (Original Wine Cellars), etc.  Lunch is Included at a local restaurant in Velehrad.  Dinner at Hotel (On Your Own).  Evening Free to explore the surrounding castle and botanical garden complex adjacent to our hotel.

Day 13
(Thu.-July 26)
An early Breakfast Buffet is available in hotel (Included).  Board Bus at 9:00 a.m. for Neighboring Towns Tour:  Znojmo (Famous for its Moravian Wines), Mikulov (Castles Galore), Pavlov, Valtice, etc.; Tour of a local winery in this famous grape growing area.  The Moravske Slovacko Region is one of Central Europe's richest surviving repositories of traditional folk culture.  This region sports the most colorful and folk costumes, each elaborately decorated with embroidery and lace.  Lunch is On Your Own at a local restaurant.  We will return to the Lednice hotel at 5:00 p.m. and have a Group Dinner at Hotel (Included)

Day 14
(Fri.-July 27)
An early Breakfast Buffet is available in hotel (Included).  Today we travel to Austria to tour Vienna.  We will arrive in Vienna near 11 a.m. for a two hour bus guided tour of the beautiful city.  At the completion of the city tour, we will remain in the city an additional two hours before returning to our hotel in Lednice.  Group Lunch is Included.  Moravian Wine Cellar Dinner Included.

Day 15
(Sat.-July 28)
An early Breakfast Buffet is available in hotel (Included).  Have your bags packed for 8:00 a.m. departure for an early arrival in Vienna.  Check out of hotel by 7:45 a.m.  No meals are included this day to allow everyone as much time as possible to explore this beautiful and historic city.  The highlights of the aristocratic Baroque Austrian capital could include the State Opera, Franz Josef's Hofburg, Belvedere Palace Gardens, St. Stephen's Cathedral, Imperial Boulevards, Prater Amusement Park with its famous Ferris Wheel (55 Shillings per round), City Hall, Parliament, Lippizan Horses, Kurzalan, etc.  You can explore elegant Vienna on your own or with a tour group.  Do shopping as quickly as possible as most stores will close early.  Plan an evening meal (pricey!) with waltz along the Danube River, or a hydrofoil tour of Vienna.  Maybe a relaxing cup of coffee in one of the many quaint street cafes or take in a Viennese waltz concert.  Opportunity for a Mass at St. Stephens in German at 6 p.m. or English at 7 p.m.

(Sun.-July 29)
Early Breakfast in Hotel (Included).  Opportunity for an early mass at St. Stephen's Cathedral.  Have your bags packed for 8:45 a.m. transfer to Vienna's Airport
